Her real passion is in education, particularly in educating her clients due to her belief that real change is reliant on changing mindset, which can only occur with education and knowledge. This is why she spends so much of her time teaching in her programs and on social media.
In 2012, Naomi started her business, after the birth to her twin daughters. Originally, she designed professional development courses for personal trainers but after discovering low carb high fat (LCHF), her life was completely changed and so was her focus. Over the next 12 months, Naomi researched everything she could on LCHF and in 2015, Naomi joined with her sister Rachel, and together they formed the Eat Fat Get Fit Program. This program is the corner stone of Naomi’s business and has four pillars: LCHF, intermittent fasting, HIIT and education.
In addition to the online programs and lecturing, Naomi also runs an exercise physiology (EP) clinic and group training in Ipswich, Queensland. As an EP, she specialises in chronic disease management; namely cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and obesity. Naomi is particularly passionate about obesity and continually campaigns for more education from health care professionals around this condition.
As a mum of four, Naomi understands how busy life is and how stressful it can be trying to eat well, exercise and take care of a family. Everything she does, she does with your family in mind. She wants to see you spend more time at home, and less time at the gym or slogging it out with a trainer. She ensures that nutrition and fitness is fast, easy and family friendly.
Ultimately, Naomi is passionate about making lifestyle changes work for people not vice versa. She has spent almost two decades keeping up to date with the latest in health, nutrition and fitness research, which means she understands how to optimise dietary and fitness interventions to get the best results, quickly and efficiently.
