Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken breast
  • 200 grams ham shaved is best
  • 200 grams cheese I love Swiss for Parmigiana but cheddar is good too
  • 300 grams salsa optional
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 C and turn on the deep fryer to 180 C (if you're shallow frying, I recommend you use lard).
  2. Slice the chicken breast into thinner pieces
  3. Coat generously in the crumbs (see breadcrumbs recipe)
  4. Cook either in the deep fryer or fry pan until just cooked through
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, place ham over the entire piece of chicken
  6. Spread some salsa over the ham
  7. Place a generous amount of grated cheese over the top
  8. Put the chicken in the oven until the cheese is completely melted
